Grey upholstered dining chair is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from comfort and quality issues We have bought one of these chairs in February this year which was a 2015 batch. It is very comfortable and supportive when you sit. The height and the upholstery is very comfortable. The main frame of the chair is one piece L shaped plywood and very solid. After using for a while, we have decided to buy 5 more to complete a full set of dining chairs which were to be used daily. The new chairs arrived were 2016 batch and had some issues and differences when compared to 2015 batch, although visible they almost look identical. - the fabric is slightly different - the sitting height is higher compared to 2015 batch - the main frame has been swapped to a metal hollow frame compared to previous solid single wood frame, this has brought couple of problems with it, such as, when you sit on the chair, there is a sagging since you sit on a stretched fabric/foam base with out any form support in the bottom, when you lean back, the chair cannot support the weight and leans back to an extend with you and since the frame in the back is also hollow, the chair no longer supports your back when you sit, hence became very uncomfortable. We had to visit three showrooms to try to find the 2015 batch to replace the newly purchased 2016 batch. The shop assistants were very helpful and kind enough to allow us to change our chairs with display model 2015 batches. The only down point is that we ended up paying a price of new chairs and have used/scratched display chairs in order to get the comfort we were looking for. It is shame the quality and comfort level went down All the best Cem Ugur
