WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT STYLES OF DINING SETS AVAILABLE AT HABITAT?
At Habitat we understand that everybody is different - what works for one, might not necessarily work for all. But we’ve all got to eat, right? Exactly. That’s why we work hard to design a varied collection of dining sets; inviting and comfortable, stylish and attractive. You can even mix and match them, if you should feel so inclined....
But before we get carried away, let’s discuss your dining style. Are you more vintage country; think a shabby chic aesthetic, with wooden tables and chairs. Do you like something a little sleek and modern, or maybe you’re more for the intriguingly retro?
At Habitat, we offer a number of options to get you in the mood for dining. Solid woodrobust and durable, is one attractive option. This surface ages well, with any scratches actually serving to create an attractive ‘patina’. For this reason, these tables will last a lifetime. What’s more, they play perfectly into a country vibe - you can even paint and distress them with ease, perfect for aforementioned shabby chic.
For something with a heightened touch of the classic, an oak dining set creates a timeless, elegant look and feel. At the other end of the spectrum is our plastic tables and chairs; perfectly practical for any evening meal - and not too bad looking to boot. Alternatively, we also offer metal designs; quintessentially modern, with an air of all things luxe.
Aside from what it’s made of, we also offer different dining table shapes. Are you a square, or a little bit more round? Either way, pick an option and pull up a chair.
WHAT SIZE OF DINING SET DO YOU NEED?
With all the will in the world, a six seater table will most probably not work in a chic bijoux city flat, but don’t just take our advice, measure it instead - before buying a dining table the first thing to consider is always space. Measure carefully to ensure that the chairs, not just the table, will fit comfortably in the designated area. Is there room to sit down or leave the table with ease? Once you know your measurements, you’ll be able to get started on deciding to go for a large or small dining set, plus how many- 2, 4, 6? That all depends on how active your dinner party schedule is. (Don’t forget, we also offer folding chairs, just in case you expect extra guests to arrive regularly.)
WHAT COLOURS ARE HABITAT'S DINING SETS AVAILABLE IN?
No matter your preference or colour scheme, at Habitat we design our dining sets in a number of attractive shades. From classic black to contemporary white, muted greys to the brightest orange, our dining sets appeal to all tastes in decor.
When it comes to adding in the chairs, don’t be afraid to mix and match your colours. A black table with white chairs would evoke a timeless monochrome palette - a pairing that never fails to deliver on the ‘wow’ factor. Likewise, a white table with orange chairs would bring a bold take on beautiful, while similar shades of greys and blues are known to complement each other to stunning effect.

Your order has arrived - now it’s time to set the table. As beautiful as it may be, every table that is set to receive hot food and plates is well in need of table linen.
