Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bench, love the colour Great looking bench, well built and comfy to sit on as occasional seating for extra guests. Gas strut lid works really well too. Assembly is simply enough if you have your own tools, don’t bother trying to use the little Allen key supplied with it. Although it will work, i imagine it will take you ages and be rather frustrating. I used a little ratchet socket set, after getting the screws started with a battery drill/driver. They are located quite close to the inside face of the bench carcass, hence needing to switch to the socket set. Very sturdy once finished. I would highly recommend, great addition to any lounge, bedroom or hallway. Good extra storage capacity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what we had expected & legs don't attach We loved the colour of this storage bench and the legs were a lovely shape and type of wood but that's where the positives stop sadly. The lid doesn't open fully because of the hydraulic hinges - which were good quality - but that isn't much use in a linen/storage box as it limits what you can fit into it. When we went to attach the legs there were several pre-drilled holes so it wasn't clear which ones were the right ones to use. Trying to push the legs onto the joins was impossible, we tried using a rubber mallet and still couldn't get them to go on with anything less than a two inch gap. The nuts are too close to the edges of the unit to be able to use the allen key provided so we had to use a screwdriver/allen key but even then weren't able to get the legs to get anywhere near being flush with the base and the nuts were very cheap and so threaded when any sort of (needed) pressure/turning occurred. We have now returned this item and fed all this back to Habitat customer service. Shame as it looked exactly what we needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Saffron Yellow Storage Bench This looks great but you cannot tighten the legs and fix them flush to the inside of the bench with the Allen key or any other tool. The manufacturer needs to be told and they need to sell them with the legs attached as it is ridiculous.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely bench but legs are a nightmare!! Lovely large bench but each leg was so difficult to fit. I had to use a saw and a drill to get them in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good size and looks the part I bought this a month ago, it is solidly built and worth the money. I had read the reviews about how long it took to put on the legs and we had the same problem. A little knock with a hammer to get the legs into place and then sat laboriously putting in the screws while watching tv. But once completed it is worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Mechanism Great quality. I didn't struggle too much with the legs. An electric screwdriver with the allen key adaptor made light work of it. The mechanism of the hinge is really good and I can see it lasting a long time. The colour is a little darker than the pictures, but it is still lovely!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love my bench I bought this bench to go under the dining room window so I could store dog walking paraphernalia, sit on it when putting my boots on and finally to admire the view. It’s great - stylish yet roomy and hides loads of boring necessary items.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice storage...bigger than it looks. Lovely storage bench all though a little " rough around the edges" , not as well finished as I expected for the money paid. The legs were a pain to attach, and gave up completely with screws.
