Rated 5 out of 5 by Civemf from Good size and looks the part I bought this a month ago, it is solidly built and worth the money. I had read the reviews about how long it took to put on the legs and we had the same problem. A little knock with a hammer to get the legs into place and then sat laboriously putting in the screws while watching tv. But once completed it is worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CLL from Excellent Mechanism Great quality. I didn't struggle too much with the legs. An electric screwdriver with the allen key adaptor made light work of it. The mechanism of the hinge is really good and I can see it lasting a long time. The colour is a little darker than the pictures, but it is still lovely!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Epsom66 from I love my bench I bought this bench to go under the dining room window so I could store dog walking paraphernalia, sit on it when putting my boots on and finally to admire the view. It’s great - stylish yet roomy and hides loads of boring necessary items.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Pop from Nice storage...bigger than it looks. Lovely storage bench all though a little " rough around the edges" , not as well finished as I expected for the money paid. The legs were a pain to attach, and gave up completely with screws.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mollymo from Looks amazing, but difficult to assemble We really wanted a storage bench to brighten up our bedroom and it looks great; amazing colour and fabric, really sturdy and good storage. Only downside was the time and difficulty in attaching the legs, the screws don’t seem to align properly with the holes despite us using a drill from the outset (thanks to other reviews mentioning this!) Took far longer than it should but finished product looks great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by ItsARhino2 from Great piece... but oh those legs! I certainly don’t regret buying this. Looks great, fits a lot, and in a pinch can be used as extra seating. But as others have noted, those legs are a pain to get on. The holes for the screws are not milled very well. The screws are so close to the inner sides that you can’t do a full revolution with the Allen key. And most annoying, after getting the screws about 2/3 in, the sockets on top of the screws had worn away so much that I couldn’t turn them anymore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sarita from Very smart I bought this ottoman for the bedroom and it exceeded my expectations. Trendy grey colour, very sturdy, good quality hydraulic opening mechanism. The only minus is attaching the legs, they don't fit in easily at all. But when they're in, they're very stable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by amandad from Badly built with legs that are imposible to attach I am in the process of sending this bench back as I didn't feel it was worth the price. It is very nicely upholstered and a stylish piece but firstly it is not grey, but an oatmeal colour. The next problem was attaching the legs, they were very difficult to fit into the holes, the allen key supplied was absolutely useless because the screw holes are too close to the corners to turn the allen key. The bolts won't go in the holes because the holes are so badly drilled. With a drill attachment we managed to get 7 of the 8 bolts in but the last one sheered off, leaving it sticking hlaf in, half out. If this was from Argos I would expect to have to work round problems like this, but when I pay Habitat prices I expect better quality.
