Rated 4 out of 5 by Enma Wood from Great chairs, good value for money Really lovely solid chairs. Only criticism would be that they don’t quite match other walnut items that we have from Habitat as the wood is very matt/powdery which I wasn’t expecting. And the cord is a little basic. But they are lovely and great value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by James from Instant classic! The chair is a combination of classic design meets quality craftsmanship. Very happy, we bought two to compliment a set of four velvet chairs to create a bit of variation. Very comfortable & would recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LHM from Comfortable and look nice These chairs are comfortable, even for a day of working at home. They also look very nice. We bought them with the Lincoln flip top table and they go really well together.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Peter in Orkney from Bad workmanship spoils otherwise attractive chairs As others have said, the grey Oregan chairs are stylish and they are comfortable - more comfortable than they might look, actually. In most respects the quality of the workmanship is good, but both of the chairs had faults relating to the backrest. On one, a screw projects from the wood, which looks unsightly and could be uncomfortable if it is sticking in your back. You can’t tighten the screw yourself, as it’s painted over. There’s a gap between the upright support and the rear of the backrest, as it’s not been properly fixed. On the second chair, the wood is split where one of the screws secures the backrest to the supports. It’s been painted over, but it’s liable to get worse as it’s a weak point. This is not damage that’s occurred in transit, it’s shoddy workmanship. The chairs are made in China, according to the details on the carton, though Habitat don’t mention that on the website. They should not have got through quality control at the factory. I have taken photos and will tell Habitat that we want a refund, as another pair of Oregan chairs we ordered shortly after both came with circular indentations on the backs, evidently caused by hammer blows from a different cowboy than the one who bodged the first pair of chairs. We are therefore very disappointed with the quality of both chairs. They were reduced by about 30%, and maybe you can see why Habitat might be wanting to dispose of this product. They look great in the photos on the website and the design is very attractive, but somebody in the factory isn’t fit for the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by janmc from Good looking chairs This chair is good value for money compared to other similar products. We wanted chairs not higher than about 76cm and this model was perfect. Seems pretty solid, looks good and should last for years. We bought 4. Slightly darker wood than it looks online, but not a problem for us. It remains to be seen if some of our larger friends find them comfortable - top of the legs may dig in a little.
