Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it So happy with this sofa bed. Firstly, I love the sleek styling. We use it mostly as a day bed in a sunny room. It actually has three positions - up as a sofa, down as a bed and a half way between the two which is hugely comfortable with some large cushions added. The mechanism is very simple to use, no effort at all, and one person can do it easily - just make sure it's clicked at both sides. Delivery was well organised, when I wanted it, and the self assembly was just to screw in the legs. Easy. It's very easy to fall asleep on this sofa and it's transformed our use of a room. Job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for guest bed Purchased this nifty little sofa for our spare room/ office and it's perfect. The delivery guys were very helpful and even waited for me to return home. They carried the box in to the house and all I had to do was unpack and screw on the 4 legs. Most of the time it's in sofa mode, but the clever ratchet system allows me to alter it into a bed really easily by fattening the back down. It hasn't been used yet as a bed, but it seems nice and padded, I'll add a mattress topper to give a bit more padding and protect the cover. Great value and very stylish too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not too bad for price Sofa looks really good and is quick and easy to turn into a bed. The sofa is a bit squeaky and I can't see it standing the test of time but for the price it's pretty good. Delivery was a nightmare because the drivers would not take it upstairs for me even though Habitat website stated it could be taken to the room of my choice. My friend and I really struggled but managed it in the end - the two delivery guys would've done it in less than a minute so that aspect was disappointing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good crash pad I ordered the Howi foldout sofabed first, but had to swap it for this one as it had too big dimensions to get through my hallways. I wanted a sofabed that my visitors could sleep on for weeks, so to be honest I would prefer Habitat designed something like Howi that could be disassembled more for delivery. But, this one is an adequate crash pad and a third of the price, so it is good value for what it is. The charcoal sofa part of it is nice looking, the legs and the view from the side/back however look disappointingly studenty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, stylish and easy to assemble/fold dow Bought this as a space saving additional seating/sleeping piece of furniture for a room which has to double as study/guest bedroom. Have previously struggled putting flat packs together but simply fit the legs on this and it's and good to go. Its streamlined design and earthy tone means it blends naturally into any small room and converts easily to the bed when needed. Only downside is that two generously sized people sleeping together might find it a bit tight of a tight squeeze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and practical The Habitat Kota Sofabed is a good looking piece of furniture in its' own right with the added benefit of being a versatile spare bed. Simple to use, unlike a lot of sofa beds, the 'click' mechanism folds the one piece mattress into a bed in seconds. Its a fat, firm mattress to both sit on and to sleep on. It's an optimistic double - but a huge single, Ideal spare bed, great design and a good price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from stylish and comfortable Got this a couple of weeks ago with £100 off which seemed like a great deal. Although the delivery men didn't get it up the stairs in the box (the stairs have a bend) we did manage to get it up out of the box. Really happy with it, looks great, comfy to sit on - have not yet had guests to try it out. Seal of approval from the cat who has claimed it as his #1 napping spot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sofabed This is decent for the price and great as a sofabed - it's easy to put the back down and comfy to sleep on. It's not the most comfy sofa ever as you don't sink into it and there are no arms, but it's decent and seems to be wearing ok so far. I wish the covers were removable for washing but I guess that would affect the price a lot. Delivery was not straightforward but when it arrived it was flat, which made for easy access to the building.
