Very easy to install and use
I bought two of these and am really happy with how easy they were to connect. The app is user friendly and gives a range of options.

Works very well
These are much easier to use than the old Hue system. I've had to install one or two manually, but that's a simple process. They're great for light fittings that don't support a dimming feature.

Not bad but the colour modes are a bit dim. I also wish it worked with the Apple Home app and Zapier.

Seems okay
So these don’t work well with touch lamps but as long as you leave on highest setting and use voice control (Alexa) and you don’t touch the lamps they work very well. I couldn’t register mine to start so worth noting to turn on & of 3 times to reset and then they will pair- or twist 3 times (whilst on) so it disconnects. I now need to get another for my other daughter’s room.

Good bulb but app has limited automations
I bought this to replace another smart bulb which wasn’t very good. this bulb is significantly better and small enough to fit into a small lamp. The app that comes along with it isn’t great for automations. eg you can’t set the light to come on / off based on sunset, the app only uses times so I have paired the light to Alexa which can use sun set and sun rise but this limits the colours / scenes you can set.

Easy to install!
Bought this to go inside the white caliban globe table lamp. Easy to set up with the app. Means I can have the light subdued when required and turn it on remotely.

Great produxt
It works great but I was never able to use all the lights cos I use an open network in a student accommodation. If you have wifi networks which requires signing up, you cannot use this. Howp this help for your future purchases. But its a great one and I love the way it gives the warm light

I can advise the following for the Philips Wiz E14 Colour Smart LED Wi-Fi Mini Globe:
The app that this can be used with won't support this but you may be able to use a third party solution to allow this to happen and ramp the brightness over a 30 min time frame. Hue allows this to happen built in as such as well as a multitudes of other manufacturers such as Nano Leaf and Aqara.

Im not sure what the staff member is saying as the lamp has an inline switch, so as long as this is always left on then yes the bulb would work!
Obviously they can correct me if Im wrong, but I have used this bulb perfectly with a lamp with an inline switch.

Apologies, no, the Habitat Caliban Globe Table Lamp - White requires a constant power source and can't be used with dimmer switches

The supplier has advised the following for the Philips Wiz E14 Colour Smart LED Wi-Fi Mini Globe:
“ Apologies, no, this requiers a constand power source and can't be used with dimmer switches. If you have the lamp on the highest setting all the time and control the bulb via the app you will. However knocking the lamp would cause the power to change and could damage the bulb. ”
