I bought this a few days ago and have had a good chance to use it in the early July hot weather. I am very pleased with the purchase. The mattress is very hard and the topper makes it much softer, which is the reason for buying it. Very good value for money.

Easy solution to an uncomfortable problem
Have been sleeping in the guest bedroom as it is cooler and it did not take me long to realise how hard and uncomfortable the mattress was. A mattress topper seemed to offer a reasonably priced solution and I was right. The 8cm topper has made the mattress far more comfortable, so much so that I’m glad I bought a second one for the main bedroom when the weather eventually cools down.

Well pleased with topper, its brilliant.
Have been looking for topper for a few weeks now and this one was recommended by a friend who had the single one. I read reviews online and decided to get one. What a transformation to our king mattress which is only a few years old but has buttons that every now and then were digging in my hip making it sore. Glad we chose this one. Thicker than we thought, fits perfect under mattress protector, and like the corner elastic straps which are doing a great job of keeping it well on mattress. OH says it's a bit warm but I said you'll be glad of that in the winter. He seems content. Great product for an affordable price. May get 2 for the single beds later in year.

Its basically a double thickness mattress protector. The photos are misleading. Its cheekily expensive for what it is. About the thickness and firmness of a duvet.
