It’s like giving your back a reward every night
Bought just over a week ago for the campervan as I already have Emma mattresses on the beds at home and honestly, absolutely love them.

Too firm for side sleeper
Bought this for the spare room, I’ve slept in it a couple times hoping it would be better than my current mattress ( looking to replace it) sadly the Emma mattress is just as, if not more, uncomfortable than my current mattress. I’m a side sleeper & have started getting shooting pain in ribs and across my back which wakes me up, then I can’t get back to sleep, it’s absolutely awful. I was hoping the Emma would help but it’s still too firm for me. I am keeping it because it was on offer and it’s in the spare room, my partner tried it and said the same, very firm but he slept ok on it. Not a good mattress if you’re struggling with pressure pain from side sleeping.

Lovely and comfy, just a little hot
The mattress is lovely and comfy and very good value for money but we find it very hot! Our old mattress kept us a lot cooler on a warm night.

Hello Gel,
The supplier has advised the following for the Emma Original Memory Foam Mattress – Small Double:
"Yes, it can be taken off. You can wash the mattress cover regularly in the washing machine at 40°C. Tough stains can be removed with simple detergent, a textile cleaner or Biotex. Urine Stains are best removed with vinegar and blood with plain water. Larger stains can be treated with a steam cleaner. Beware of excessive water use, excess moisture can increase the risk of mould. If in doubt, thoroughly air-dry the mattress in a well-ventilated room."
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
