After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Emma Original Memory Foam Mattress - Double:
You can use the mattress once it has been opened as it may help to speed up the process of inflation.
Although it is rare, sometimes the mattresses are vacuum packed slightly tighter which just leads to a little more time for the full inflation to take place. The mattress should reach 90%-95% of the desired depth within 48 hours, it may take an extra couple of weeks for them to reach the optimal height.
