The Lancaster Compact Sideboard gives you organised storage that keeps your living or dining room tidy and sorted. It's part of the Lancaster collection, with a contrasting oak effect top that works well with the cream finish. Two drawers with metal runners hold cutlery, serviettes and dining essentials within easy reach. A double door cupboard underneath provides space for larger items, serving dishes, and things you'd rather keep out of sight. The silver coloured handles add a subtle finishing touch.
The adjustable shelf inside the cupboard lets you change the layout to suit what you're storing. Its compact footprint fits neatly against walls without taking up too much floor space. The wood effect finish wipes clean after everyday use. Supplied with wall fixings for secure attachment, which is required for furniture over 60cm high. Great style
Bought for elderly parent along with two other matching items. Look good together. Took 3 hours for myself and hubby to put together. No missing parts. Be careful putting back board on with panel pins. If not centred it can damage the shelf. Edges are quite delicate so be careful whilst building. As mentioned with matching item review, the driver left the very heavy boxes in the doorway and I needed help to move them so we could shut the front door.

Lovely piece of furniture, really ties the room together! Feels nice quality and decent. The only issues we had was the instructions were wrong and several parts had pre drilled holes in the wrong place so it took a long time to assemble and make it work.

Yes, the cupboard shelf can be removed entirely. It is not integral to the structure of the GFW Lancaster 2 Door 2 Drawer Sideboard.

The supplier has advised the following for the GFW Lancaster 2 Door 2 Drawer Sideboard - Cream:
"We do not state the weight that the drawer can hold in kg’s but in litres – it’s 6.5 litres. The overall weight that we recommend for the sideboard is 25kg, this is spread over the shelving & drawers."

"We do not advise of a maximum weight for the internal shelf. We do however only recommend the overall sideboard load capacity to be no more than 25kg."
The shelf is 1.5cm thick.
