Sleeping beauty
Bought to replace an old Sealy Posturepaedic mattress that served too long so a lot to live up to. But it does. Good quality feel to the sleeping surface and weighty enough to hold down a lifting storage bed. Would recommend this as it is firm but allows support in the right places. Can only use one surface but can be rotated not flipped and as it is quite heavy that’s not a bad thing. Very happy in bed now.

Just the right firm.
I needed a firm bed as I have trouble with my spine.was worried it may be too firm,but it is just right.from the first night I have had wonderful night's sleep.I also like the depth.Very happy with this mattress.

Performs as promised
The mattress is definitely firm. It took a few nights to get used to it because my old mattress had become very soft. I like the fact that it doesn't bounce much. It is a heavy mattress but I was able to turn it head to toe with similar effort that it took for my previous mattress. I know it is no longer standard to put handles on mattresses but they were very useful - presumably removing them was about manufacturers' profit margins! I'm glad I bought the mattress.

Bought for a guest room, this is a lovely firm, supportive mattress. Not overly heavy, and not a mattress that has to be turned over, it's easy to spin round top to bottom to even out wear. Came across more expensive mattresses than this that were less comfortable and didn't look as well made

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight 1000 Pocket Tufted Eco Mattress - Double: ''Our Eco Comfort fibres are made from recycled plastics and can also be recycled at end of life.
The mattress contains our Eco Comfort Layers, which are naturally flame retardant making it foam and chemical treatment free. Using Eco Comfort Fibres makes the mattress hypoallergenic.''
