It will not fully expand. After 3 weeks, the corners were a mere 9cm and the middle only made it to 14cm instead of 18cm as advertised on the website

Please see below as per our care guide lines for rolled mattress recovery.

Please ensure that you unroll and place it on a bed in a warm room for 24 hours before use. After this time the mattress will fully regain its normal shape.
Please note that recovery time will be faster when placed in a
warm environment.
The mattress cover should not be removed.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Just Sleep Relax Mattress - Double: ''As the items are tightly vacuum packed, once they are opened they can sometimes have a new smell to them like any new product. If the item does have a smell to it, this will disperse.''

The supplier has advised the following for the Silentnight Just Sleep Relax Mattress - Double:

Yes it is but it is subject to a couple of points on the width and spacing of those slats. The supplier advises: "If you have a slatted bed frame please make sure the slats are at least 10cm wide and the gap between them is no more than 7.5cm to make sure you and your mattress are supported properly."

As this is a rolled mattress and delivered by our small items team, we wouldn't be able to do a collection of an older mattress. You will be able to do this on our unrolled mattresses though.
