Crafted from 200 thread count sustainable, organic cotton, our premium warming mattress protectors have cloud-like softness so you can drift off cocooned in warmth. Great heated matress protector
I don't know why I waited so long to get this! It has transformed bedtime - getting into bed and immediately relaxing in the warmth. Worth the expense for the quality.

Perfect for GB weather.
We have had this since October last year. Once we figured out the controls, it's been a great purchase, granted, expensive, but after penny-pinching in the past, pleased we pushed the budget on this one. It covers the whole mattress, but heats from just below the pillows to the bottom of the bed. Super fast at heating up too.

Good product for heating the bed.
Easy to put on mattress (like a fitted sheet), rather than straps going under the mattress which I can’t manage on my own. Doesn’t get as warm as my preference electric blanket so I put it on earlier before going to bed. Controls a little more complicated than I need.

This is the second one of these I have bought the last one lasted about 7 years before stopped working Only electric blanket that I have ever had that fits well on a deep mattress and never moves Also heats up in about 5 minutes Only downside is that it is expensive

Fantastic
This is a great product. It's described as a heated mattress protector but I'd say it's a mattress protector, mattress topper and electric blanket rolled into one. You absolutely get what you hou pay for with this, great quality and comfortable. 6 heat settings and timer makes for a lovely warm nights sleep. Highly recommend.

Design could be better but overall very good.
I bought this a few weeks ago and I am very happy with the heat the blanket produces and also the quality of the fabric on the heating part of the blanket. However the fabric which goes down the sides of the mattress is flimsy compared to the top and is not long enough to tuck under my matteress and is therefore not as secure as I would like. I will buy some elastics to make the blanket more secure.

The supplier has advised the following for the Dreamland Intelliheat Dual Control Mattress Protector-Double:
“ The blankets can be washed at home or in a laundrette. They cannot be dry-cleaned. The washing instructions are provided below:
Prior to washing, unplug any leads from the blanket and measure it so that it can be stretched back to its original size.
For machine washing, load the blanket into the machine, taking care that it does not rest on the rubber which surrounds the opening; we suggest either a bath towel or sheet be loaded in front of the blanket, to help prevent the blanket from falling forward. The reason why we suggest this is because we have seen many blankets ruined when they have rubbed against the door rubber, during the spin cycle.
The blanket should be washed at a max temperature of 30 degrees C Wool programme, do not use the extra spin cycle.
If you wish to hand-wash the blanket, use a mild washing powder in lukewarm water and soak for 15 minutes. After soaking gently wash the blanket and rinse thoroughly with clean water, allow the water to drain from the blanket by gently squeezing, do not wring.
Drying the blanket outdoors over a line is the ideal way of drying, do not use pegs on the wired area. During the drying process stretch the blanket back to its original size by working from side to side stretching a strip at a time, this may require to be repeated several times.
If you hold the blanket up to the light you may be able to inspect the wires to see if any loops have been formed, if so, keep stretching the blanket till they have straightened. If your blanket will fit your Tumbler dryer use the low setting and you can follow the stretching procedure above.
Although washing machine drums are always marketed by the weight of the wash load, with something like an electric blanket, it's not so much the weight, as the volume of the item that is important. The drum needs to be physically large enough to accommodate the item oscillating inside it. If your blanket is too big for your own washing machine, you can take the blanket to the launderette, washing instructions are the same as home laundry. ”

The Dreamland Cotton Electric Dual Control Blanket-Double extends from the top of the mattress right to the foot. This is only suitable for a double bed.

This measures W137, L190cm. After checking Europeans double sized beds (W140 x L200cm) this would not fit.
