Comfortable but shifts places

The mattress topper is a lovely comfortable addition to our bed. However the only downside is the lack of elastic hoops to keep it in place. As a result it moved constantly and slid down the bed. I have had to attach my own elastic as I would have returned it otherwise.

Slips everywhere

Don't waste your money the topper slips on top of your matress with no straps to hold it in place.

The cover makes it slide off the bed

We are happy with the quality and the improved sleep, but the protective cover is ridiculously slippy. It is always trying to slide off the bed. We have removed the cover and are hoping the problem is solved. Could do better Dormeo

Slippage from bed

I recently purchased this item and was quite happy with it but it keeps slipping off the bed. I have tried turning it over but it has a grey covering that is not comfortable and recently I have woken up with an aching back. it is comfortable but have to pull it back on the bed most days.

very comfortable but moves

Bought 2 months ago, very comfortable but there is no securing bands or straps on the mattress therefore, you are forever having to straighten the mattress topper as it moves and can hang over the bed like mine does...apart from that, it is very comfortable.

I purchased my topper about 6 weeks ago. My old topper, also a dormeo, lasted 2 years past the warranty period and finally needed replaced. My back was aching in the morning and my hips were sore, I was waking up to move during the night. After a couple of nights I was sleeping all the way through, my back and hips are much better! I have it on a dormeo silver fibre mattress, can't remember the name of it, which is quite firm. Thank you dormeo for a good night's sleep!

The price of the topper is not reflective of its quality. It’s average at best in our honest opinion, and priced as a premium product. Would look elsewhere if buying one again.

Gives a comfortable nights sleep

I bought this octasmart mattress topper as a replacement for one I'd had for a good number of years of happy relaxing nights sleep. It is fairly comfortable to sleep on, but unlike my original topper, I tend to wake feeling too hot during the night on a few occasions. Not every time I hasten to add, and overall I'm happy enough sleeping on the new one. I kept the cover from my old topper, and as the new one doesn't have a non slip base. I've put the old cover over the new one, and it's a definite improvement. I didn't realise when ordering my new topper, that my old one had been a top of the range one. This could well explain why I find the new one to be hot to sleep on during milder nights. I bought my original one mainly for the claim, that it would give a cool nights sleep, which it did over the years.
