Built with comfort in mind, the Habitat Alma is beautifully padded and upholstered in a pink fabric. Exceedingly comfortable as well as eye-catching, with a high-back and head rest, this is the perfect chair for long hours working from home. Comfy chair
This was a very much needed purchase , as I bought this for when I’m working from home and it was easy to assemble! It’s very comfy and helps support my back , as I sometimes get lower back pain!

Habitat Alma High Back Office Chair
I purchased this chair about three weeks ago after having difficulty finding one that supports my back properly. I'm really pleased with it—it's solved my discomfort. The chair is very comfortable, especially for those who spend most of their time sitting while working.

Great, comfy chair
I've had this chair for a couple of months now, and it's great. Really comfortable, great wheels and does everything I need. My only thing is the recline ability gets stuck sometimes, might be a me problem but it doesn't fully move freely at the moment. But apart from that, it's great.

Stitching quality perfect so lower score
The chair was fairly easy to put together. The quality is ok for the money. The reason this review is only 4* is because the stitching on the seat is marginally out of line. It would not pass my quality control test, but I can’t be bothered to send it back. So far it is comfortable to sit on and sturdy.

Seat went flat after 6 days!
This chair looks great and is easy to build but I don't think it's made for 8 hour working days. I'm not heavy but by the 6th day, the foam had gone flat and I could feel the plastic underneath. It's also not great if you're tall - the arm and head rests were too low for me (5ft10). Would be great for short term use but not for regular working from home.

The supplier has advised the following for the Alma High Back Office Chair - Pink:
The Pin diameter (mounting stem) is 9mm and the castor diameter is 50 mm. We'd also have to advise that the item's guarantee is on original parts only, so any issues arising with the 3rd party glides, or due to the use of and installation of such 3rd party parts, would not be covered.

Plastic. Had mine for a while now. Really sturdy and great quality.
It’s metal
On mine it seems to alter how far you can lean back while seated. It can be tightened or loosened and that alters the setting.

This is the tilt tension adjustment knob. The tilt tension knob will increase or decrease the amount of force needed to make the chair rock or recline backward.
