The Habitat Bournemouth Storage Bench keeps your hallway tidy and gives you somewhere to sit while you're sorting shoes. It's got hidden storage underneath that swallows everyday clutter like bags, scarves and things you need to grab on your way out. The classic panelled design has a white painted finish with a pine top that adds a bit of natural warmth. There's proper seating space for pulling on boots or tying laces without balancing awkwardly. It's freestanding, so you can tuck it against a wall or move it about if you rearrange things.
The wood with painted finish stands up to daily wear and minor knocks. The pine top contrasts nicely with the white base and creates a two-tone look that works with most hallway colours. Self-assembly's needed with one person, and all the fixings and instructions are provided. It's a smart bit of kit when you need seating and storage but haven't got loads of space. Looks good, great storage
Good value for money. Very easy to assemble, I put this together myself using just a Phillips screwdriver and have no previous flat pack experience. The only issue I found which is minor was only two holes on lid for hinge fittings which required three. Lid doesn’t open fully but is not a problem for me.

Nice unit
Firstly I like the finish ,was going to take the inside hinges off ,don't really need them ,also see the round metal claw that grabs the screw found them a bit cheap and nasty if I had older 1s about would of used them ,be careful,gentle with them and don't overtighten

Good storage bench
Overall pleased with the storage bench but 2 cushion pads were missing. Rang customer service but this proved to be more confusing but eventually have been told these will be sent out to us within 3 days.

Product looks good once up. Assembly not great, missing hole measurements which ment instructions did not make sense and had to work out for ourselves which meant trial and error. Also signs of woodworm on the wood

The leg width is 5cm, the full width of the unit is 119cm, minus off 10cm (for each leg) will make it 109cm between the legs.
