After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the De'Longhi EcoDecalk 500ml Descaler.
We wouldn’t recommend using the De'Longhi EcoDecalk Descaler on a Smeg bean-to-cup coffee machine, as doing so may affect your warranty. To ensure proper care and maintain warranty coverage, it's best to use descaling products specifically approved by Smeg.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the De'Longhi EcoDecalk 500ml Descaler: ''Our Ecodecalk is designed to be used with De'Longhi coffee machine. We would recommend looking for a descaler designed for Kettles.''

Our supplier has advised that you should use 100ml of descaler diluted in hot water and leaving it to soak in the kettle. You do not need to boil the kettle.
