Excellent Product
I recently received my vegetable troughs. They are straightforward to build, very solid and I am delighted with them. I would genuinely highly recommend this fabulous product.

Excellent size, great for vegetables or flowers
Raised bed ideal for people with mobility issues, do follow instructions with screwing base in, we did on on forgot on the other because we stupidly thought that the weight of the compost would hold in place (it does, but the bottom now sags), whereas the other is perfect

Fantastic Raised Beds
I bought 3 of these raised beds, it’s a really lovely product. Easy to put together with only 9 pieces and a bunch of screws.

Great planter. Just what I wanted.
This was purchased for planting spring bulbs and it looks great. Easy to put together and is a great size. Good value for money.

Poor quality and construction
I bought 2 last month. They took 2 weeks to arrive and between them both we had a missing leg, a split side, a missing decorative slat and a broken decorative slat. I was told it would take 3 weeks to get a new one sent or I could have spare parts in 5-7 working days. Of course, I'm still waiting! Poor quality timber and poor construction. Customer services varied between helpful and just about polite. Wouldn't recommend.

Perfect
Quite a ice container but it took weeks to arrive

nice size
looks great, wood a little rougher than I thought and legs were warped, having said this we found it easy to erect, it dos need two of you and we had to use one extra longer screw on one leg because of the warping, we also had been sent four extra screws which was good, we felt sorry for the delivery driver that had to lift this flat packed item on his own and it weighs 55kg, in all can't wait to plant it up.

Possibly snail free gardening - Highly recommended
Not yet had it long enough to say for sure, but there seems to be a lack of snails and slugs in my planter possibly because they think twice about climbing up the wood. I have also stood the planter away from anything overhanging to try and prevent kamikaze dropping into the planter from above. I have not filled it with soil (as that would make it quite heavy), but have filled the planter with potted fruit bushes, herbs and vegetables so that they can be carefully tended (without bending).

i have been advised not to, as the guarantee suggest it will only apply, if untouched.
Yes absolutely. I would advise any knots are coated with a knot compound first. At exhibitions Forest often paint our products as per our website (www.forestgarden.co.uk)
