The Habitat Roma Chairbed sorts you out when someone needs a place to sleep but you haven't got the space for a full-time guest bed. It's a compact single chair that does daily duty as a cosy spot for reading or watching TV, then folds out into a proper single bed when you need it. Foam-filled cushions give you support whether you're sitting down for the afternoon or bedding down for the night. The grey fabric blends in with most living rooms or spare rooms without any fuss.
Wooden feet keep it stable and lift the base off the floor so you can sweep underneath. It's built for occasional use, so it's ideal if guests visit now and then rather than every weekend. You'll want to plump the cushions regularly to keep them looking their best. Simple assembly, just attach the feet and you're sorted. The fabric requires specialist cleaning. There's a two-year guarantee included.

what was needed
I purchased to have in my child's room when I need to be oseby during illness etc. it's ok comfort wise, the centre part does sag a little which can get uncomfortable if spending more than one night in a row on it.

Excellent spare bed
I bought this product recently and it has already been tried and tested as an easily converted, stable, comfortable bed. Stylish when folded, complete with comfy cushion.

Looks good
It looks great and is firm to sit on. Haven’t used it as a bed yet but the construction is sound and strong. Good buy with great discount and extra nectar points.

Great.
Great piece of furniture. Cat loves it as a seat and it folds out into a comfortable single bed. It has support legs (for bed mode) at either end that are hidden and pull/fold out from behind hidden zips. Comfy to sit on too. The big cushion that comes with it hides one of the zips for the bed legs that fold out. Had it a couple of weeks now and it's been used a few times. The chair to bed change is quick and easy and additional pink padding is provided for the bed legs that fold in. After unboxing you have to screw the chair legs on and a diagram is provided to make sure this is done correctly. Follow the pink string to a large zip and the chair legs are hidden in it. I honestly thought the chair legs had been lost as I couldn't see them then had a good laugh when I realised they were safe in the chair.

Simple design and easy to use
This is the second Roma single chair bed I have bought in the past two years . I very happy with both the larger single and the compact reviewed here, which fits perfectly in the space I bought it for. Both are used for guest beds and general sitting. They are very easy to convert into beds and stable on a carpet. For the price of these chairbeds re. Build, relative comfort and ease of use, I doubt if you will find better for the price. As seats they are comfortable , for use as beds I use a topper. The design is simple, colours are generally subtle enough to fit in anywhere. They are easy to adapt if you need more cushioning.
