Love but hate the wire

I love this, looks great in the living room. Only thing I hate is the wire shows right from the top of the lamp which is annoying and there’s nowhere to hide it.
It’s a nice lamp, but poorly designed as the overall look is spoiled by the white wire which hangs down untidily from the underside of the bulb holder (and is not shown in the photos). There are no clips to keep the wire tidy so I had to sellotape the wire to the wood at the back to hide it.
Bought for a present for my granddaughters first house. She likes it very much. The only downside is it came with far too much wrapping. In a huge box. Only collect if you have a big car or van.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Mango Wood Shelved Floor Lamp - Natural: ''The diameter of the top shelf is approximately 30cm, and the diameter of the bottom shelf is approximately 37.5cm.''
The white cable is not concealed and comes out in the middle of the lamp to the underside of the bulb holder. To hide the wire you could tape it to one of the legs to make it look like it does in the photo. They should have made one leg hollow to incorporate the wire.
