This topper offers full support but is not firm to the touch. The product uses Airstream technology which offers support similar to memory foam and bounce back ability without the heat build up.

It does state in the description that it is pressure releiving and helps with aches and pains how ever we could not guarantee this would fully take away the pain but it may help it.

We contacted the supplier for you.
They say - yes this product should be sufficient for your needs - the airstream pad is a unique construction and the layers of fibre offer quite a bit of support vs. a traditional topper.
The airstream pad and coolmax cover will also ensure there is no heat build up.
The pad can be removed from the cover if needed or if you want to use this on its own.
The straps are full width length as well, so not positioned at the corners – this should help when fitting it to the mattress.

We would not recommend cutting this topper – it is available in single, double and king.

The cover comes off so can be washed , the inside you can then flip and reverse before putting cover back on
