Each lamp comes complete with a fabric drum shade, so they're great for bedside use or for either side of the sofa. Simply touch the base to turn them on and off. Clever, huh?

It is possible that there may be a fault with the electrical connection. You would need to take them back to a store for inspection preferably or contact Customer Services.

Yes they would activate them and probably knock them over as they are very light.
