Hi Kisha, what Rob hasn't allowed for is the fact that the 90cm extra is between both sides which =s 45cm each side so you must allow for the thickness of the matress and what is left over is the amount you have to tuck in.

The overall size of this sheet is Width 180cm by Length 255cm
A Standard UK Single Mattress measures 90 cm × 190 cm
So this would give you 90cm width and 65cm length in total for the sides of the mattress and to tuck underneath
