Decent size
Decent size stars. Fits along my radiator cover. But being battery operated they don’t last long as I keep my lights on a lot.

I bought two sets of these to put in my trees outside. They look great and it was easy to set them up

Good lights only problem is there’s no wire at the end of the lights so can be difficult to hang in the window as I have.

Both. You can tell by the battery pack, as it should say on battery pack IF it is suitable for outdoor use.
INDOOR USE ONLY battery pack has a slide off top, held on with a tiny screw. This gives NO PROTECTION TO BATTERIES!
OUTDOOR USE battery pack is made of thicker plastic, have a hinged lid, with 2 clips and a tiny screw along the opposite edge. Inside it will have a rubber seal on the outter edges, to protect the batteries from the elements.
And usually there is a little loop to hook it up.

Once you set the timer option, they will light up immediately, and stay on usually for 8hrs, or sometimes 6hrs. Then they turn off automatically and come back on again the same time each day. So set the timer at dusk or when dark.
Some LED lights specify timer hrs on box, on the battery compartment, or on the lable on the cable. Though some sets just say timer option without specifying how long the timer is on. But LED automatic timers are ALWAYS 6hrs or 8hrs depending on the manufacturer.
