Classic cafetière
I bought this as a replacement and it is perfect, producing perfect coffee which stays hot for some time. A thing of beauty is a joy forever and it definitely applies in this case, lovely to look at and it comes with its own measuring spoon. Just gorgeous!

Nice little cafetiere for one.
Nice little cafetiere for one. Works fine, but I do wish it lasted a bit longer - have to replace every 2-3 years.

Does the job
Just what we wanted. Perfect for 1 or 2 person's serving. The additional scoop is very handy too.

Smaller than I thought.
Ok just bear in mind when it says 3 cups, they mean 3 tiny shot cups, that’s 1 normal cup of coffee. It’s still good and does the job, I’m happy with it even though not what I expected.

Excellent value
I bought this one to replace a more expensive one and honestly no difference but a lot more cheaper. It does me a lovely coffee and enough for a large mug.

Hi Adi,
Yes, you could use aluminium capsules in this Habitat 3 Cup Cafetiere - Black, providing you open the capsule and only use the coffee inside.
Thank you for using Q&A
I use this for grounded coffee i am sure if you pop out the coffee from the aluminium capsules it should work and filter the coffee.
If you empty the capsules into it then yes it’s fine , I’ve done this myself
This is not to brew your coffee on gas or electric cooker.
You have to add grounded loose coffee add hot water and then wait for 1mins press down and pour in a mug. Hope this helps.
