I doubt it Sandy as you need to touch the outside of the lamp in order for it to come on and off.

For the Habitat Maya Table Touch Lamps you will need 2
dimmable 40W SES (E14) golf ball type bulbs or the LED equivalent.

Argos does not have any of these.

If the sound is only made when the lights are on I would suggest trying different bulbs (E14 28W Mini globe)

The Habitat Pair of Maya Table Touch Lamps are wired and have to be plugged into the mains to be powered.
