Not great.
Unfortunately this is not great quality. i checked I had all the pieces before I started, unfortuantely part way through assembly realised that although the parts were all there, the holes were not drilled in the right places. Also, as others have mentioned, the edges of the white veneered pieces have a brown tinge where the chipboard shows through. Some of the edging veneer was rippled as well. Returned it and got refund. Pity because the style is quite nice.

Only buy if you're giving it to someone you hate
The finished product isn't too bad but assembly is beyond a joke. The instructions have everything numbered or labelled but non of the wood is labelled. Some of the pieces are very similar so not having anything numbered is a joke. The screws come in two separate bags but each bag contains everything for step 1 so all the screws, bolts, nuts are all thrown together without labelling. The instructions actually tell you to use bag 2 for step 1 and step 2 and never tell you to use bag 1. That's the level of incompetence that's gone into designing this. I actually single handily built a twin double bed with all other fixtures about 2 hours faster than it took to build this. Also to top it off the mechanical part that should open/close the draws doesn't work as indented so if someone pushes the draw closed a little too hard it will spring out and you'll need to manually press it back down with a finger to be able to keep the draws closed. I actually don't know the point in that bit so if I had to built this again (which I will make sure I never have to do) I wouldn't even fit them. Overall it's not worth the money and certainly not worth the time, effort and stress to build.

Hi Aquille,
Thanks for your query about the Floating Top TV Unit - White.
It's mostly held on by short wooden dowels, however, these are designed to be very tightly fitting in the holes on the vertical panels so they should hold the top without issue. The vertical panels on which the top fixes to the rest of the unit are held onto the rest of the unit with locking cam nuts.
Thanks for using Q&A.

Hello Huzzy,
The supplier has advised the following for the Floating Top TV Unit - White:
ā Yes, it can be fixed to a stud wall using the correct wall plugs. There is an information sheet as part of the assembly instruction about wall fixing and which wall plugs to use. ā
Thanks for using Q&A.
Im sorry but that not good enough. The unit is needed in a place it cannot be secured to a wall and I bought this product based on reading the information on here that specifically said it didnt need to be. Thats misleading advertising. Ive now already built it and now am too worried to use it. Ill be making a complaint as 175 pounds is a lot of money to some of us.
Hello Victoria,
The Habitat Floating Top TV Unit - White does need to be secured to the wall.
The instructions state: ''WARNING: To prevent possible overbalancing this unit must be secured to a wall using the 2 overbalance protector kits supplied.''
I have removed the incorrect information, sorry for the confusion caused.
