Good purchase
Pleased with the overall with performance.... just worried the on/off switch seems flimsy and may snap. So a little disappointed considering the price.

It’s the second time I’ve purchased this kettle - must be because I think it’s great! :) Does what it says on the box, isn’t too heavy to carry when full, doesn’t take ages to boil, and love the retro style!

Form before function
The kettle body is well-made and looks great. However, the switch felt flimsy and didn’t seem like it would stand up to everyday use. The water level indicator was also difficult to read, as the plastic strip was too opaque to be practical. It was also very loud. In the end, we went back to our old kettle, which cost half as much, looked almost as good, and offered a better overall user experience.

Lightweight kettle that looks good
Much more lightweight than my previous version of this. Looks good, boils quickly, my only concern is that the switch seems very flimsy. We will see!

Have had my new De'Longhi kettle for a few weeks now. Absolutely love it. It is a bit noisy but other than that easy to keep clean, a very comfortable handle and quick to boil. It looks great, better than other more expensive ones. Great buy. 10/10

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the De'Longhi KBX3016.BG Argento Flora Kettle - Beige: The coating doesn't scratch or chip easily, however if knocked on something hard or cleaned with something abrasive it is possible.

Mine hasn’t got anything inside it either and I have to guess. Sometimes you can see the water line but not always, depending on the light in the room! I honestly suggest you take it back though. It’s a rubbish kettle and leaks all the time. I just didn’t get round to returning it. Worst kettle ever!!!!
We bought this very kettle to replace out old Delonghi Icona, which we are finding its not easy to replace at the moment. The outside is a plastic material which we didn,t like, so returned. Still trying for the Icona...
