A very poorlt made product. You can not see how much water is in it unless you take the lid off. The kettle is also not safe for kids to use. Argos return service is almost impossible even though the return was made within 28 days of purchase.

Very disappointed
I bought this because the brand has proven good in the past. Not so with this. The handle is very poorly finished and its trim has edges that are nothing short of cheap. Really disappointed.

Looks nice
Bought this kettle on looks alone. I wish I had read up on it further, as it's not as easy in use as the kettle it replaces. It has a much smaller opening at the top for filling up, I find the water level indicator practically useless - I can't see the water level. It's biggest failing though for me is the minimum fill level; I used to be able to boil just enough water for a cup/mug of tea. I now have to boil 0.7l as a minimum (if I can actually make out where the water level is). Overall can I say I'm happy with this kettle? It boils water quickly and looks nice. Would I buy another one? No.

Light and safe to use.
Changed my colour from an old red kettle to my lovely new cream one. It is so light compared to my last one which nakes it eadier and safer for me to use with my rheumatoid hands.

disappointed with the appearance, also the kettle rubbed on the base when swivelled, but the worst complaint was that you can’t see the water level so returned it before using so cannot comment on any other features

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the De'Longhi KBX3016.BG Argento Flora Kettle - Beige: The coating doesn't scratch or chip easily, however if knocked on something hard or cleaned with something abrasive it is possible.

Mine hasn’t got anything inside it either and I have to guess. Sometimes you can see the water line but not always, depending on the light in the room! I honestly suggest you take it back though. It’s a rubbish kettle and leaks all the time. I just didn’t get round to returning it. Worst kettle ever!!!!
We bought this very kettle to replace out old Delonghi Icona, which we are finding its not easy to replace at the moment. The outside is a plastic material which we didn,t like, so returned. Still trying for the Icona...
