Nice looking toasting but a disappointment
I bought this toaster to replace a previous identical one where it was no longer possible to pop the toast down. The guarantee had unfortunately just expired and I admit to being conflicted as to whether to buy this model as a replacement as I felt this lifespan was disappointing. However, as I had a matching kettle, very much like the look of the toaster and I had a previous well performing De’Longhi toaster I decided to risk it.n I am already disappointed as it does not cook evenly. Pros: a nice looking toaster with individual browning dials which takes bread of various thicknesses, bagels etc Cons: does not toast evenly

AMAZING TOASTER
bought this and microwave same colour and aame maker. My wee mum in law loves both. She struggles to see the buttons but this toaster so easy for her to use. She likes her toast with plenty colour on it and best thing being four slice toaster so all get some is brill. Never lets her down and loves her new toaster

Very nice, don't love the cable.
Looks nice and toasts things consistently. Good that you can toast either side independently. Dials feel a bit imprecise at first but easily learned with practice. Only thing we would change is the power cable as it sticks awkwardly out of the side near the front and not the back, you cannot see the cable in product shots.

Latest design disappointing
I had the same toaster which I had for 20 years which has done me proud. The latest model though it appears identical on the surface was disappointed to see the power cord placement is at the front of the toaster which is not particularly aesthetically pleasing as the cable is on view rather than being placed at the rear of the toaster. No doubt this is cost savings design H&S gone mad. If it ain’t broke dont fix it.

There are 2 levers on this item which operate 2 slots each.
If you wish to use one slot then you may do so by pushing down one lever and just using one slot although it would operate 2 slots but not the full 4 slots.
