Disappointed!
The kettle looks very smart. However, you can't see the water level in the gauge, and the button you press to switch it on is very flimsy. I have had the kettle for a week now, and will be contacting De'Longhi for a refund.

Looks good, performance a bit disappointing
I like the look of this kettle, sadly the performance is a bit lacking. It is hard to fill through the spout (I'm lazy and don't like taking the lid off OK!) Very hard to tell how much water is in there from the fill window and it's much noisier than the russell hobbs kettle that it replaced.

Unpleasant new kettle taste
The kettle looks well and fits perfectly in my kitchen. However, I expected the ‘new kettle’ taste to disappear after a few uses, but weeks later the water still has a chemical aftertaste which is very unpleasant. The taste is hard to ignore.
