Hybrid Bamboo Mattress Pro - Just so comfortable

Just love the Hybrid Bamboo Mattress Pro - an excellent choice and a brilliant replacement for my old mattress. Have slept well from the first night. Yes on arrival mattress does have a strong chemical smell but if you follow the instructions provided and leave mattress too breathe for as long as you can, this soon diminishes. Very pleased with quality. Panda has once again not let me down, thank you.

Hybrid bamboo mattress

It's a good mattress but it's took me a long time to get get accustomed to it my other mattress was soft this one is still a little too firm for me but my husband loves it, I think I would have been better off with the other mattress not the pro one

Very strong chemical smell

Unfortunately we’re unable to comment on actual comfort of the mattress as we haven’t been able to use it due to a strong chemical smell that we fear will never go away and we might have to return it. I had read about the smell before but it said it should go away in a few days or a few reviews mention a week, for us it has been around a month….we were really excited about this mattress, so very disappointing this is the case.

It's a gorgeous mattress. Firm but not too firm. Feel supported and haven't sunk in. We are still within the 100 days but so far, so good.

Hybrid Mattress - First Impressions

Very early days at the moment because I've only had the mattress a couple of weeks. Delivery was smooth and on time. Having read a lot of reviews I expected there to be a strong odour for a few days but there was hardly any. I like a firm mattress but this is a lot firmer than anticipated - when sitting up in bed, reading, I can feel the springs under my backside and it's not the most comfortable. Initial feelings are that the top layers of foam could do with being a bit thicker. Sleeping has had mixed results so far. Mostly extremely comfortable but a couple of nights of poor sleep where it's felt too firm. Luckily I have my trusted Panda Mattress Topper which is fabulous, but I don't want to have to use it on my new mattress. Here's a thought - maybe attach a topper to the mattress as a sort of pillow-top? That would definitely be a selling point. Like I said, early days so I'll see what it's like after a few more weeks. Thankfully Panda have a trial period although I've not had to use it with any of their products yet.

We bought all the bedding, quilt, pillows, quilt cover, pillowcases and mattress protector. I cant tell you how luxurious it feels. It has regulated my temperature at night, so never too hot or cold. Best nights sleep ever and he feeling of luxury cant be over stated.

Almost perfect!

Having owned Panda pillows and mattress toppers previously I finally saved up enough to buy the Ultimate Experience bundle. As expected it is a fantastic bundle - beautifully soft sheets, excellent mattress protector, brilliant topper and pillows…..really luxurious. So why only 4 out of 5? Simple….everything should fit, right? No. The pillow case covers are anywhere between 2-5 inches too big for the supplied pillows. I presume this is for people who have ‘regular’ size pillows. But surely everything should fit together as its sold as a bundle? Everything else fits perfectly, but each morning I find the pillowcases have slipped all over the place and when making my bed there is a 3 inch overlap on my pillowcases meaning the bed looks less than perfect every time. This is really annoying considering the price spent and the quality expected. I wonder if Panda actually read these reviews? If so I would like to contacted.

A dream come true

I had previously ordered a bed sheet set (pillowcase, duvet case, fitted sheet) and loved it. So to celebrate some important events in my life, I decided to splash out on the ultimate bamboo bundle. I am so glad I did. When my order arrived it was in such a big box, for a moment I panicked and wondered if there had been some hilarious mix-up and I'd accidentally ordered an actual panda! Mattress topper Honestly the best mattress topper I have ever found. I had a memory foam one before which was good. I unrolled the Panda mattress topper and let it de-squidgeify for 24 hours, and wow. It's more than double the thickness of my old topper (which was a good one). It is the perfect balance between soft and firm. It is firm enough to feel supportive and not sink into it too deep, but soft enough that it is super comfortable. Honestly feels like lying on a giant marshmallow. Mattress protector Seems good quality, nothing particularly exciting I can say about it. The material makes a slightly crinkly sound even with a fitted sheet on it, so I put an under blanket between them and that solved the problem. (Nothing actually wrong with the protector, I'm just ridiculously fussy). Pillow Firm yet soft. I already have an ergonomic pillow, so honestly didn't need an additional one (I bought the bundle because it was way cheaper than buying individual items). But the Panda pillow is lovely and I do highly recommend. Duvet I love it! Now to be fair my old duvet was older than I am, and while it had been excellent quality, its best days were behind it. The Panda duvet is so light and soft I was delighted. Again let it rest for 24 hours before putting it to use, and that did allow it to decompress. I use it with a weighted blanket which does mean it is extra warm (weighted blanket is a 'cool' one, but the additional weight will trap heat). So far the duvet has been very warm and snuggly. I do not know how well it will handle the warmer weather, but so far so good. Eye-mask It's a nice, soft, silky eye mask. I personally prefer my 3D eye mask as it blocks out the light better without pressing on my eyes, but the Panda eye mask is a nice spare for travel. I also dislike the plastic adapter thingy because I invariably end up sleeping on it and it digs in no matter what I do. But that's a feature of most eye-masks of this design, not the Panda one specifically. Bed sheet set Oh my goodness, the softness! The silky, smooth, softness! I just love the feel of these sheets, they are a dream come true. I can't speak to how well they handle hot weather, but so far they seem to be doing a great job. They clean easily (follow the instructions because bamboo does require a little extra care for a long life!) and they dried on the line in a matter of hours (it was a warm day, but they still dried much faster than cotton sheets). They even shimmered in the sunlight. The little ties to connect to the duvet are an excellent idea. If you didn't have the Panda duvet they wouldn't get in the way, and if you do, the Panda duvet has little loops to attach those ties to so that the duvet doesn't slip. Just be sure to line everything up correctly. My ONLY complaint, and it is barely a complaint, is with the duvet cover's buttons. They're nice chunky bamboo buttons, which is great! The problem is that the buttonholes are a little small, so it's a tight fit doing the buttons up. I just about managed, but if you have issues with your hands (e.g. arthritis) you may struggle. It does seem to be getting a little better with use, but it is still fairly tight and a struggle to do up.
