You would need a very large drum washing machine to fit a king sized dovet. Never fill a drum more than two thirds full, you will overload the machine and there wont be enough space to wash it thoroughly.

The only time I ever fill a machine to three quarters full, max, is with light weight T-shirts and underwear only.
With towels and other heavy clothing, like jumpers, jackets or jeans etc, it is a half fill. Be kind to the machine and they live longer.

Bought based on reviews but not impressed. Feather keep coming through, tiny but really sharp ends and feels like sleeping with a hedgehog!! Wouldn’t recommend at all

The fabric is designed to mitigate percolation of the feathers – however you may get some feather that percolate the fabric as this is the nature of feather products.

We have had no complaints to date on the product as you can see from the reviews.

I have had mine about a month and no feathers at all so far.

No noticeable loss of feathers, maybe the odd few but certainly not like you mention. Some ‘tips’ poke through but I give it a shake before bed time and it fluffs up nicely again.

I’ve not experienced any loss of feathers and can honestly say that it’s the best (& cosiest) duvet I’ve ever owned! Great value too

It’s thick and strong and the feathers can stick out sometimes but it’s not a big issue it barely happens.

Hi,I have brought this duvet I couldn't tell you how much it weighs,but I can tell you that it is a descent weight but very comfortable and it feels as if it's cuddling you as you sleep underneath it, hope that this helps you
