Solid, well made; simple but elegant
As others have said, it looks very well made, much nicer than you would expect from the price. The wooden bits all screw together well, and the lightbulb attachment looks solid too. It's simple, yet elegant. Otherwise, it's a lamp and functions perfectly fine.

The answer from Argos is wrong - this lamp comes in a square box the size of the shade and the stand is in multiple pieces that you have to put together. Looks cheap, returned for this reason.
I went to collect it and saw that it is in several pieces rather than one pole with base. Cancelled the order as a result.
