Great tumble dryer alternative!
Bought this recently as our clothes were taking days to dry on a normal airer and always had the clothes horse up, with the minky system our clothes can dry so quickly we can get up to speed with the washing without feeling like we’re behind constantly

Not as hoped
Bought this thinking good idea for items don't put in dryer, bad choice. Product is very cheaply made and feels flimsy. Yes it does dry quicker than leaving on airer but it is nothing more than an electric fan heater which aren't known for being economical. Room it was set in was unbearably hot during use. Much better to invest in dehumidifier that will suck the moisture out and more economical to use.

One of the best purchases ive made this year. I cant afford a tumble dryer at the moment but needed to not go through a winter of potential smelly dried clothes. This is the next best thing. Easy to set up, easy to set timer and heat level, dries great. Very pleased.

On max heat 1000w would be 1 Kw used per hour

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Minky Sure Dri Heat Pod Pro Drying System: No, it does not collect the moisture, there are built-in mesh vents in the cover that let warm air circulate, helping to keep things fresh and prevent dampness.
We would recommend opening a window to prevent the build-up of moisture or purchase our damp guard which will collect the moisture.
