The Silentnight anti-allergy duvet is filled with anti-allergy hollowfibre that actively protects your duvet from bacteria and dust mites to help prevent allergies. Our anti-allergy fibres are approved by the British Allergy Foundation, which means they have the ultimate seal of approval.
Only this seal of approval guarantees true allergy-friendly bedding. Our products are scientifically tested and proven to remove allergens whilst also being effective against 99.9% of bacteria.

Lovely, Lightweight Duvet
This is a lovely, soft, lightweight and comfortable duvet. I find this the right tog rating for me during the summer months as the lower tog levels needed a throw on top to keep me warm. I would highly recommend it.

Definitely a winter duvet!!!
Not an all year round duvet like stated, does its job amazingly in a cold winter and even then gets too warm! Puffs puffs out quite alot! I definitely will go for the lower togs for summer next time

Light and as cool as you can get.
Needed cooler duvet for warmer spring time . Partner snores at times so used on spare single bed which had a 7.5 tog duvet on. 7.5 is nearly always too hot for me. So this 4.5 fits the bill perfectly and is in fact the same as our double size one. I would happily buy another one , It’s just so good with a reasonable price. What’s not to like?

The supplier has advised for the Silentnight Anti Allergy 4.5 Tog Duvet - Single: Our Anti-Allergy range uses Aegis fibres. Tests performed by independent laboratories confirm that ægis is a unique technology for controlling the development of dustmites by controlling the fungus that is essential for turning skin cells into digestible food for the dustmite. Of course, ægis is able to control bacteria too, maintaining lasting freshness in your bedding goods.
The micro-organisms are attracted by the nanocoating. Once they come in contact with this nanocoating, the cell membrane is punctured, as if by a sword. In this way, micro-organisms are deactivated. Because the nano-coating is permanently fixed on the fibre, ægis exhibits a durable activity without migration to the environment. In this way, a safe and optimal active hygiene is guaranteed in time, even after frequent washing. It is not recommended to use high temperatures during the wash as this can break down the nano-coating.

Our supplier has advised that the Silentnight Anti Allergy 4.5Tog Duvet - Single does not have any chemicals used. The Anti-Allergy range uses Aegis fibres.
