Practical and good looking
Expensive ironing board but I am very pleased with it. The board has a useful large surface ideal for duvet covers and shirts and it is very sturdy and fits in my utility room cupboard well due to retractable stand. As ironing boards go it looks great too- makes me actually want to do the ironing! Heavier than most but not unmanageable but do bear in mind if that would be a concern to you .

flatly, it ‘seams’ to be the best you can buy.
this is a beautifully constructed ironing board. i used to hate ironing and now i enjoy it. i used to hide my ironing board in a cupboard and now this one leans against the wall in the kitchen on nonchalant display. it’s very sturdy and very large. if this ironing board was a car it would be a 1970s landrover, built for robust grace and built to last. treat yourself to the best.

A perfect ironing board
First time I saw this I wanted it but thought do I really need to spend soo much money on an ironing board. Well after purchasing a different one and having issues and having to send it back. I went with my lifelong belief that you get what you pay for and eagerly awaited delivery of this one. This ironing board exceeded my expectations. Yes it’s quite heavy but it opens and closes smoothly and it is so strong and stable. The padding is thick and I love the cover on it. Honestly I know it seems expensive but after using it countless times I consider it well worth the money and I don’t think I’ll be buying a new one for many years.

Nice to have a wooden ironing board!
I bought this a month ago and have just started using it. It is much bigger than I imagined but I'm getting used to it. It works best if you can keep it open because folding it and putting it away is a bit of an effort. That said it is nice to have a wooden ironing board, so I'm glad I bought it. The surface is smooth and cushioned and the iron-rest feels safe and stable.
