This grey sensor bin takes the faff out of throwing things away when your hands are full. Just walk up or swipe near the sensor bar and the lid opens automatically, then closes on its own after 5 seconds, so you don't have to touch a thing. The 45l capacity gives you plenty of room for family waste, and the square design fits neatly against walls or in corners without hogging space.
There's a built-in retainer ring that locks your bin liner in place around the rim, so it won't slip down when you're emptying food scraps or tidying up. The removable lid makes it easy to replace liners or give the bin a proper clean. It runs on 4 AA batteries (not included) and comes with a two-year guarantee. Simple, hygienic and saves you juggling bin lids when you're carrying plates or prep bowls.

Stylish blue addition
New blue kitchen bin bought for our new blue kitchen. Very stylish. Fits perfectly. First one delivered had a dent in but Argos accepted the faulty item at the store and another one was dispatched within days. It was worth persevering and the one we have is exactly what we wanted. Very happy.

Lovely bin
Lovely bin, colour great for our kitchen, sensor works well. Had to turn it sideways as sensor very sensitive and picked up when we walked past and opened whether we needed it to or not. Looks good and works well. The right capacity for just the 2 of us. We like how the bin bag fixes firmly in place and doesn’t slip down.

Our supplier has advised: the bin is a self closing lid, you do not have to close it yourself.

Once you install the batteries in the unit the lid opens by sensors as you approach and then closes itself after you deposit waste .
