Excellent Product so much easier and cleaner to use, holds much more rubbish so doesn't have to be emptied as much and a lovely colour fits in with my kitchen. Very happy with the product and would highly recommend.
BATTERY OPERATED BINS
I purchased two for my kitchen to facilitate recycling.
Placing the bins I'm restricted to a certain area. Every time I walked past the bins they open and close. Ok if your putting something in them but walking past even at a fair distance away they open I took the batteries out and open and closed them by hand and it wasn't long before the bin lid became jammed.
I wouldn't recommend them.
Was returned in exchange for a different colour because it is more of a yellow buttermilk than cream. The bin itself is fab, this is my review for the grey one :- "Great size & shape, easy to clean, modern. Sensor is on the front of the bin rather than the top so sometimes it goes off if you walk in front of it (only because we have it so close to our kitchen door). The flap stays up long enough to scrape a plate! The lid is the full size of the bin so loads of room to get your rubbish in"
Only downfall of the product, is with the lid being made of plastic and not metal as the Base is, the is a shading difference in colours which is noticeable at times.
The sensor is battery operated and is located on the front of the bin lid. This will operate / open the bin lid when something passes it from 5-15cm away.
