The Habitat Squares Plus 6 Cube Storage Unit sorts out messy rooms and keeps your bits and pieces where you can find them. It's a minimalist design with six cube spaces that you can fill however suits you best, whether that's folded clothes, books, toys or storage boxes. The wood effect finish gives it a clean modern look that works in living rooms, bedrooms or home offices. Hidden fittings mean there's no visible screws or brackets, so it looks tidy from every angle. The thick frame keeps everything stable and sturdy, even when the cubes are filled up.
Each cube's a generous size that'll fit standard storage boxes or loose items stacked neatly. The fixed shelves divide the unit into six equal spaces and hold your things safely. Because this unit's tall, it must be fixed to the wall to prevent tipping, that's really important if you've got kids around. Wall fixings aren't included, so you'll need to pick up the right ones for your wall type. Self-assembly required, one person can manage it with the instructions provided. Very thick and heavy. Good quality sturdy wood.
I bought this to use as a TV stand for my 50inch TV. It is super heavy and thick wood panels which means it's not knocked out of position very easy, and why I bought this. It can be rotated so it's landscape as I have done. The outer panels are all the same. You just add the felt anti scratch stickers on whichever side you are placing on the floor. Was very easy to put together. I did it easily by myself.

Damaged/sloppy finish
The actual unit is absolutely fine and very easy to put together. However most of the components were scuffed or the glue visible on the seams. Given it’s black, it’s not the best of looks. It’s only for my home office, so does not matter, but still it should not be this sloppy.

Habitat what is has gone wrong!!
HABITAT Poor quality, badly scratched and scuffed all over, returned and re ordered thinking this was a one off. Returned a couple of days later and wisely opened in store what a mess no better than before. No thank you! Quality control? Went to Ikea great quality product and not even a hint off dust.

Solid unit looks good but heavily marked
This is a good unit but when building it i had to make sure some pieces ( due to scratches and marks) were placed strategically so they were hidden. Units need to be packaged better.

These units are designed to be used individually or side by side, not stacked. Stacking them is not recommended as it’s not their intended use and could cause damage to the lower unit or create instability.
Be aware that there’s no hardware included to lock units together laterally—you’ll need your own solution if you want them fixed side-to-side.

It can be securely attached to the wall to stop overturning; however, you won't be able to attach the whole unit to the wall, this isn't as the manufacture intended and would void the warranty if done so.
