Our supplier has advised that the Habitat Brooklyn 2 Drawer Desk does have a piece of wood covering the back of the drawers, so the desk can be placed in the middle of the room.

“ The desk plate overhang to the legs is 16mm each side and 16mm in the front as well.
Desk top plate 1000x550mm.
Width leg + back rail + leg = 968mm.
Depth leg + side rail + leg + overhang at the back = 534mm. ”

To remove the drawers from the Habitat Kids Brooklyn 2 Drawer Desk - White, you need to follow these steps.
Open the drawer fully.
Locate the levers on both sides of the drawer, which are usually located near the runners.
Push down both levers simultaneously.
While holding down the levers, pull the drawer straight out towards you.
Continue sliding the drawer towards you, making sure to keep both levers disengaged.
When it reaches the end of its tracks, it should lift straight out.

The GFW Pettine Fabric Accent Chair - Blush Pink will partially fit under the Habitat Kids Brooklyn 2 Drawer Desk - White, the seat height is 49cm but the armrests are an additional 17cm. The floor to underside of the drawer height is 60cm which is not sufficient to accommodate the armrests.
