Very bright screen
The light is nice, but the screen makes it hard to use. The screen is so bright, so if you want to see the time at night and you push the button, your eyes will hurt. The sounds are ok, speakers quite bad, for radio ok.

Wow. So underwhelmed.
So extremely disappointed. What did I even pay for. The functionality of this clock is so far behind modern technology is feels like you're using a 90s alarm clock. I can't believe I spent this much money on this.

Great Features and Effective
Been using for a few days, was unsure after some reviews on functionality. But reading the instructions fully was the key. You can set a weekly alarm schedule. Quite a smart design for customization. So far it has been a gentle awakening with the light. Getting up is easier thus far. The sound options are fun. My dogs were unsure about the goats and tree frogs, but I love the silliness. Really glad I took a chance on this after much research on comparative models. This one ranked top across independent brand research.

Works well once you master the settings
Smaller than my previous one - good. Handy to have the radio and choice of sounds to fall asleep to. But I still have to refer to the manual to get the sunrise setting, in fact I still haven't mastered it. I can get the inner buttons by feel but the outer ones I really need a light to see by. It doesn't seem logical to have the radio button on the right but the volume controls on the left, and the sunset button on the left but the light intensity on the right - I'd have put all the sound-related buttons together and ditto the light-related ones

Good but not that well finished
It seems to work fine for now but the buttons seem a bit loose, not very well attached. I have the feeling that they may fall apart in a few months

Light feature is great in the morning but unfortunately the only thing good about this item. Cheaply constructed, buttons are not intuitive or helpful. Sound quality is awful. It serves the purpose of the being a sunlight clock very well at the basic level, but it feels a shame to have paid a lot for features I am let down by. 3 stars were only awarded on the basis of how good the light function is.

Stopped working within 48 hours!
Brought this, plugged it in, seemed to work great the first night. On the second night, woke up naturally only to realise it was an hour past my wake up time and the clock had completely stopped working!

Ok but not as good as my previous version
This is my 3rd Lumie bodyclock and although its good I prefered my previous version. The light is great as is the ability to set a full weeks alarm times, however I do miss the security light feature of my last Lumie. The fact the light will stay on for 12hrs rather than the 90 mins is very frustrating and a drain on electricity, however the most frustrating for me is how light it is, evertime I went to switch of the alarm it slid away from me on the bedside table. I have had to buy a sticky mat to put under it and have something behind it to make it stay put !

It really works
It really works, I was a bit skeptic at the beginning - and conscious of the price. So I decided the to try the refurbished version. I've a suspected ADHD, and I suffer with low moods and lack of energy, in particular in the morning. This really helps me in getting out of bed and feeling more energetic when I wake up. The light control is easy so now it replaces my bedside lamp (when you press the up button increase the brightness starting from the lowest setting, this avoid to flash you with the brightest settings). I've used a few time in sunset mode to help me unwind. As light works perfectly, the reason why I didn't give it 5 starts is the alarm. I ended up using it in silent mode, because all the tones are horrible, as I'm not a huge fan of the radio. Setting it up is more laborious then it should be - and you can't pause the alarm if you go on holiday - you have to delete the entire schedule and set it up again when you are back. I looked online, and this still feels the best option for a SAD alarm clock. Nonetheless, if feels like the put an excellent alarm on a very cheap alarm clock. For this price I wanted more, a connection with my phone to easily manage the alarm schedule, the ability to use it a smart speaker and wake up to my spotify. A raspberry pie cna manage all these functions and it's extremely cheap, I can't understand why they didn't invest in a better hardware for this. I hope that Lumie use these feedback for its next products. Regardless the body clock helped me a lot, and I am about to buy more lumie product with for the rest of my house. Lumie keep up with the good work.

Pleasant way to wake up
No more annoying buzzer, a much more pleasant way to wake and fall asleep. I have the blackbird wake me in the morning, and crickets help me drift off.
