Hmm not ideal.
Comfort is pretty good. But the position of the straps meanw the bottom rides up. So you then have a ridge to contend with. No I would not recommend. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Surprisingly soft and great value
The mattress on my narrowboat sits on a sheet of plywood so it’s very solid and I sometimes get an aching back. I thought I’d try a mattress topper but didn’t want to spend too much. What a difference!! The best nights sleep we’ve had in ages! It doesn’t look thick enough but you can really feel the difference. I’m very impressed.

It is recommended to place electric blanket under the topper so that the warmth is radiated up from below the topper, which should increase the toppers loft and warmth.
