Thanks for your query about the Home Supersoft Washable 10.5 Tog Duvet - Double.
This should fit OK in a 7kg washing machine though I cannot absolutely confirm with accuracy without knowing the brand, model, etc of the machine you have. Your user manual though should confirm if duvets are OK in the machine and what sizes/weights are suitable for it.

I can't tell you the exact weight but I managed the 25 minute walk home with it, quite easily. At the moment I have it for extra warmth on top of my other duvet and it does not feel too restrictive. Hope this helps
