It's a duvet
It's a duvet. More expensive than some but my experience of cheaper ones is that the covers are made of some nasty material that disintegrates after a year hence I spent a bit more to get a trusted brand. As expected it's toasty warm and does the job. I sleep better now.

Having checked I can see this is the same tog as a warm as toast quilt. The only difference I can see is the warm as toast is polycotton whereas this is polyester.

They are very similar items with the differences being exceptionally minor. The supplier advises that there is therefore no difference between the products that the user would probably feel or recognise.

I have had the Bounceback duvet for a couple of months now. I have always been wary of buying a Fibrefill one, however this is the best duvet I have had. It's light, warm and keeps it's shape, .It stays in place during the night does not end up with the filling all at one end.
A quick shake on a morning and its good to go.

No, the Slumberdown Winter Warm 13.5 Tog Duvet isn't suitable for a 4 year old. Ideally, to keep your little one comfortable and safe, have a 4.5 tog duvet for the summer, and a 7 tog / 7.5 tog duvet in the winter.
