Attractive light which does the job nicely
As well as creating a smart feature at the front door, the projection up and down creates warm and welcoming glows of light.

The supplier has confirmed the following on the Osram 5W LED Full Glass GU10 Bulb:
“Yes, the product can be used in an outside socketed light as long as the light fitting and socket itself is of the correct IP rating, normally IP44 or above. This will be marked on the light fitting itself usually on the packaging or the label containing the serial number or model number.”

The Argos description of the product is misleading. The 'bulbs' only draw 4.3 watts of power but give out light equivalent to a conventional 50watt halogen bulb. The recommendations are for safety reasons as using bulbs over 35 watts in your chosen lighting fixture could cause overheating. LED units create little heat so any wattage rated one can be used.
