Rotates freely
I bought this rotary drier a couple of weeks ago but I have only just had it planted!!!! Delighted with the dryer and surprised how much washing I can fit onto it. The rotary drier replaces my washing line.

strong and sturdy
Worth paying a little extra for this wonderful rotary dryer and ground spike. Easy to set up, including setting spike into the ground. It stays firmly upright to let washing spin around in the breeze. Great quality and the actual line is pale grey so blends in well with all types of backgrounds eg walls, bushes, trees, sheds etc. Very pleased with my purchase.

I love watching the washing dry!
Perfect height and easy to Get operating. Gone is the cementing in, just get the hammer and bang the cleverly designed "holder" into the ground. Insert the rotary drier and off you go. Love it!!

Solid built does the job well
All one could reasonably expect and looks and is well made. The only mild criticism is that the cover for the post hole protrudes rather a lot above the ground level. That's being pick though. Happy drying

this is a great line. my first rotary line in a very long time. Very well made. the lines are of a good quality and the ground spike is sturdy. Plenty of room for several washes. Just need the weather to be nice so I can use more.

The Brabantia 40m 4-Arm Outdoor Topspinner Rotary Airer has a 4.5mm pole diameter, so providing your existing ground spike can accommodate this size there should be no problem.

That depends on whether the internal diameter of the ground spike is the right size for the airer's centre post. Too small and it obviously won't fit, too large and it won't keep the airer stable.
The depth of the spike also needs to be enough to give the airer correct support.

Hi. I bought one this morning (18th April 2014). The 'three settings' are for the top part only. This means that when you put it on its 'highest' setting the lines are tauter rather than the lines being noticeably higher. It is very large and very high. I'm 5' 11" and for a much shorter person, when hanging out and taking down clothes, the actual lines will all be above head height. Obviously this is great for bed clothes, tablecloths, etc. It's a really well engineered product. Hope this helps.
