The Habitat Squares Plus 8 Cube Storage Unit sorts out your clutter and keeps things tidy in any room. It's an 8 cube design that you can set up however suits you, leave the cubes open for books and display bits, or add drawers and boxes to hide things away. The wood effect finish gives it a clean, modern look that fits in with most home styles. It's tall enough to make the most of your wall space without taking up loads of floor room. The minimalist frame with hidden fittings looks smart from every angle, so you can use it as a room divider or against a wall.
There are 8 fixed shelves that hold up to 60kg total, so you've got plenty of space for books, storage boxes, or whatever you need to organise. Each cube fits standard storage boxes up to 33cm high and wide, that gives you loads of options for customising it. The thick frame keeps everything stable and sturdy through daily use. Wall fixings are needed because it's over 60cm high, that's really important for safety and preventing tipping. Self-assembly required, one person can manage it with the instructions provided.

Some damaged areas
Nice storage unit. There were at least 3 areas that were damaged, but by the time you are half built, its easier to just hide the areas

Sturdy once you can put it together
Heavy and sturdy unfortunately the drill holes were out of line and there was glue all over the panels

Disappointing
Unfortunately, this proved hard to put together. The holes for the screws did not align and started breaking through the surface. We are not big DIYers but thought that we wouldn’t have a problem having put many flat pack pieces of furniture together previously. One end is only connected with dowel plugs so not very secure. Probably should have used glue but we lost patience. It’s sitting horizontally and so should be ok. But I am very disappointed as it’s not the sort of thing you can send back once you’ve started to put it together. Would have been perfect otherwise as it’s exactly what I wanted to store my crafts.

Quality cube
I bought this after looking around for several weeks. I needed a unit to accommodate some pre owned basket that are quite heavy. Elsewhere the dimensions were too small, or reviews suggested the items weren't particularly strong. This unit whilst costing a bit more was getting much more positive reviews and has the dimensions I required. Ordering was easy, the delivery driver very friendly and helpful and the packaging was strong, but not excessive. I checked the contents, all present âś” and set about assembly. It was easy to understand the instructions and things progressed well until I needed to attach the final two panels, "top" and "bottom". I enlisted help after several hours of fruitless attempts, to no avail. The panels simply wouldn't align. I left the part assembled unit for couple of days and then again a few days later, with help and some creative application of the dowls, (cut off 2mm approx) finally got the unit completed. I'm really happy with the finished item, just a bit frustrated with the assembly..

Fantastic piece of furniture
Solid well made easy to assemble. I made this in my Sons nap time . I was a bit sceptical with reading some negative reviews on this furniture. But it is brilliant and gets rid of all the toys on tye floor fantastic purchase.

I am not exactly sure what you mean. This comes flat packed for self assembly with pre-drilled holes. There are no addition holes and no fixings should be visible once assembled.
