It’s a lovely thing, very attractive with the bright metal creating a structural shape and complemented by the pale wood grain effect top. Comes complete, just unfold the metal bar and it’s ready. Only reason it is 4 stars is because it feels a little unsubstantial when trying to adjust your chair to get past the floor bar and get in comfortably, but that’s what comes of it being a folding desk.

Ideal for what I needed

Habitat Compact Folding Office Desk - Black & Oak 881/4906 The bar is not able to be removed as this is one of the 2 parts of the item that help the stability and structure of the item that helps it to stand and fold.

No you can't remove the bar but my chair fits underneath if I put the arm rests up
