The Habitat Squares Plus 6 Cube Storage Unit sorts your books, boxes and bits into neat compartments, keeping everything visible and within reach. Its minimalist design works as a room divider, against a wall, or tucked into alcoves for extra storage. The grey wood effect finish blends into most rooms. Six open cubes provide flexibility to hold storage boxes, plants or books. Each cube fits standard boxes up to 33cm, letting you mix open and closed storage. The thick frame gives a solid, sturdy look from every angle.
Hidden fittings keep the clean lines intact, no visible screws or brackets to interrupt the look. Fixed shelves mean the structure stays stable and square under the weight of your stuff. It'll hold up to 45kg total, with each shelf taking 7.5kg comfortably. Wall-mounting is required because it's over 60cm tall, that's really important for stability and safety, especially if you've got kids or pets around. Fixings aren't included, so you'll need the right ones for your wall type. Arrives flat-packed for one-person assembly with clear instructions provided.

Easy to put together, but came with lots of scratches and marks. Colour much darker than it looked on the website, so more of an industrial grey rather than a paler one. Overall, a disappointment.

Looks really nice, it's solid, and easy enough to put together. It had a small dent in the edge of one of the panels which lets it down - not big enough to send it back, but enough not to give five stars. Maybe improve the packaging.

Hello there. The Habitat Squares Plus 6 Cube Storage Unit can take a maximum load weight of 45kg with a maximum load per shelf of 7.5kg. This does not change if the unit is turned on its side. I hope this helps, thanks for using Q and A.

These units are designed to be used individually or side by side, not stacked. Stacking them is not recommended as it’s not their intended use and could cause damage to the lower unit or create instability.
Be aware that there’s no hardware included to lock units together laterally—you’ll need your own solution if you want them fixed side-to-side.
